Riding the wave of numbers, empowering Shanxi: ZDATA appears at the 2022 Jinyang Lake Digital Economic Development Summit.
On August 18th, the "Jinyang Lake Digital Economic Development Summit," themed "Building Foundations Digitally, Leading Innovation, Green Development, Embracing Ecology," opened in Taiyuan, Shanxi Province. ZDATA, representing the leading enterprise in the domestic big data industry, was invited to participate in the Advanced Computing Development Sub-forum. During the event, ZDATA presented the project introduction for the ZDATA Green Big Data Industry Base and formed an expert group for discussions.
On August 19th, as one of the sub-forums of the Jinyang Lake Digital Economic Development Summit, the Yungang Digital New Infrastructure Development Forum, themed "Gathering in Datong, Leading the Future Intelligence," opened at the Datong Energy Museum. ZDATA, with years of experience in the Datong big data industry, was invited to participate in shaping the significant development of Datong's digital new infrastructure and molding new advantages in Datong's digital economy. In his speech, Lu Dongliang, a member of the Shanxi Provincial Party Committee and Secretary of the Datong Municipal Party Committee, stated that in the future, Datong will vigorously explore broader digital blue oceans. With the goal of creating the world's largest IDC (Internet Data Center) base, Datong will further extend, supplement, and strengthen the chain, forming a comprehensive industrial chain development pattern for the digital economy. This will propel Datong's transformation from "coal and electricity transportation" to "data and computing power transportation."
During the signing ceremony for key projects in the Yungang Digital New Infrastructure, ZDATA, represented by Vice President Ma Chao, signed a tripartite cooperation agreement with the Datong Municipal People's Government and Huawei Digital Energy Technology Co., Ltd. The agreement aims to create a national-level new digital infrastructure that is clean, low-carbon, safe, reliable, open, innovative, and technologically advanced. The three parties will collaborate on meeting the energy demand of the ZDATA Green Big Data Industry Base in Datong, utilizing Datong's advantages in new energy resources to explore the construction of a new integrated power system with a high degree of integration of "source, grid, load, and storage." This project aims to become a demonstration project for the integration of "source, grid, load, and storage" at the park level, with national demonstrative value, setting a benchmark for green and low-carbon data centers nationwide.
In the high-level dialogue session, ZDATA Vice President Kang Nan and Zhang Qiang, Deputy Secretary of the Datong Municipal Party Committee and Mayor, along with other corporate representatives, engaged in in-depth discussions on the plan to build Datong as the national computing power hub city under the "East Counting, West Calculating" initiative. Kang Nan stated, "With the further clarification and deepening of the national layout for the construction of the computing power network, ZDATA is accelerating its coverage of hub cities in the 'East Counting, West Calculating' initiative. As the largest gathering place for big data computing power industry in Shanxi Province, Datong already has the industrial foundation to become a national computing power hub city. ZDATA will fully utilize Datong's locational advantages, focusing on enhancing capabilities in customized development, resource aggregation, rapid delivery, operation and maintenance testing, and integrated innovation. The goal is to enhance the integration level of the 'source, grid, load, and storage' of green energy consumption, serving as an important strategic move for Datong to become the next national computing power hub city."
In the closed-door meeting of the Yungang Digital New Infrastructure Development Forum, held in the afternoon on the 19th, ZDATA participated, and the forum was presided over by Zhang Qiang, Deputy Secretary of the Datong Municipal Party Committee and Mayor, and Deputy Mayor Meng Weijun. In the future, ZDATA will contribute to enriching the connotation of the digital economy in Datong, expanding the extension of the digital economy, and transforming the vast land into a highland for the development of the digital economy.
