Lin Wu, Secretary of Shanxi Provincial Committee, and His Team Visit ZDATA Green Big Data Industrial Base for Inspection

On July 8th, Lin Wu, the Secretary of the Shanxi Provincial Party Committee and the Director of the Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Congress, conducted an investigation in Yanggao County, Datong City. Zhang Jifu, a member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee and Secretary of the Datong Municipal Party Committee, Li Fengqi, a member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee and Secretary-General, Vice Governor Wang Yixin, and others participated.

Lin Wu emphasized the need to deeply study and implement the important speech spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping at the celebration of the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China. He also stressed the importance of implementing the important instructions given by General Secretary Xi Jinping during his inspection of Shanxi. He called for leading high-quality development with high-quality party building, becoming a benchmark in green, low-carbon, and circular development, and making new contributions to the comprehensive construction of a socialist modern country in Shanxi.

Based on the strategic deployment of the Shanxi Provincial Party Committee and Provincial Government to develop the data industry in Shanxi, and benefiting from the favorable business environment and industrial planning in Datong and Yanggao, ZDATA has landed the "ZDATA Green Data Industry Base" in Yanggao County, Datong.

In the midst of the summer in northern Shanxi, with the sky high and the clouds wide, Secretary Lin Wu and other leaders visited the ZDATA Green Data Industry Base located in Yanggao County, Datong. ZDATA's Chairman Zhou Kang and COO Dong Yan accompanied and introduced them.

Secretary Lin Wu and other leaders attentively listened to the development strategy and future planning report of the ZDATA Green Data Industry Base, and walked into the equipment area of the Module 1 building to understand the operational functions of the data center. ZDATA's Chairman Zhou Kang and COO Dong Yan provided detailed explanations about the advanced technological solutions and green energy-saving innovations adopted in the data center. They also introduced the future plans for the integrated "source-grid-load-storage" project, expressing their determination to fully build a green, zero-carbon data industry base.

In recent years, ZDATA has been committed to building green and energy-efficient data centers, with investments in new energy such as photovoltaics, wind power, and energy storage exceeding 5 billion yuan. The company plans to establish the first "Data Industry Carbon Neutral Research and Development Center" in the country, focusing on researching and solving key technical problems in the development of the data industry under the concept of carbon neutrality. It aims to establish a talent think tank for carbon neutrality, actively apply for national patents, and promote the commercialization of research and development results.

After attentively listening to the report, Secretary Lin Wu urged ZDATA to focus on the "zero-carbon" goal, accelerate the construction progress, and bring in upstream and downstream enterprises to help Datong create a "Green Cloud Valley."
