Nature‑Positive, Computing Power in Symbiosis | ZDATA Officially Becomes a Founding Member of CNPA China Nature‑Positive Alliance!
Against the backdrop of the rapid development of international frameworks including TNFD (Taskforce on Nature‑related Financial Disclosures) and SBTN (Science Based Targets Network), as well as the ongoing implementation of the Kunming‑Montreal Global Biodiversity Framework, environmental factors such as natural capital and ecological risks have become core assessment dimensions for evaluating corporate ESG management capabilities.
As a benchmark enterprise in the global digital infrastructure sector, ZDATA has recently officially become a founding member of the China Nature‑Positive Alliance (CNPA). The enterprise has long cultivated computing hubs in Datong, Zhangjiakou, Ulanqab, Zhongwei and other locations. It has practiced dual‑carbon goals and ecological protection through the integrated development of “source‑grid‑load‑storage” and the construction of zero‑carbon intelligent computing industrial parks. Being selected as a founding member represents authoritative industry recognition for ZDATA’s green development practices. It also enables the enterprise to align with international standards such as TNFD and SBTN. Leveraging the alliance platform, ZDATA connects domestic and international sustainable development practices and sets a benchmark for the data center industry to explore nature‑friendly development pathways.

The China Nature‑Positive Alliance (CNPA) is an authoritative cross‑sector non‑profit collaboration platform established in China in response to global nature‑positive goals. It also serves as a core hub linking domestic industrial practices with international front‑runners in nature conservation, and holds significant industry‑leading influence across new energy, manufacturing, finance and other sectors. Centered on the symbiotic development of business and nature, the alliance integrates resources from enterprises, research institutions, social organizations and other stakeholders. It builds four major service systems covering knowledge sharing, capacity building, pilot implementation and industrial co‑creation, and delivers localized implementation tools and standards for nature‑positive actions. Benchmarking against the international TNFD disclosure framework, the alliance promotes domestic industrial translation of the Kunming‑Montreal Global Biodiversity Framework, and helps enterprises across industries translate biodiversity concepts into actionable and quantifiable business practices.
The digital economy and nature conservation are not mutually exclusive. Green computing power acts as the core carrier to realize symbiosis between business and nature. Becoming a founding member of CNPA marks a new starting point for ZDATA’s green and sustainable development. Taking this opportunity, ZDATA will draw on the alliance platform to study advanced international nature‑positive assessment systems, improve internal biodiversity conservation management and the ESG management framework, conduct regular company‑wide ESG training, and fully integrate biodiversity conservation and natural capital management into the full chain of green computing power. It will explore localized nature‑positive implementation pathways for the East‑Data‑West‑Computing initiative. Meanwhile, cooperating with cross‑industry partners within the alliance, ZDATA will advance the coordinated development of green growth for East‑Data‑West‑Computing and biodiversity conservation. Through practical computing‑power‑industry efforts, ZDATA supports the delivery of China’s “3060” dual‑carbon targets and fosters a new paradigm for sustainable development in the digital industry.
