Joining Forces with Hunan Telecom, Building "Digital Shaoyang" Together - ZDATA Shaoyang New Generation Green Data Center Project Officially Starts

On September 26th, the groundbreaking ceremony for the ZDATA's new-generation green data center project in Shaoyang (referred to as the "Project") was successfully held as part of the "Empowering Thousands of Enterprises, Entering Shaoyang" series of events and the signing of significant digital industry project commencements.

Attendees included Shi Yong, Counselor of the State Council, Academician of the Academy of Sciences of Developing Countries, and Director of the Key Laboratory of Big Data Mining and Knowledge Management of the Chinese Academy of Sciences; Hua Xuejian, Deputy Secretary of the Shaoyang Municipal Party Committee and Mayor; Wang Yonghong, Member of the Municipal Party Committee and Executive Deputy Mayor; Liu Yaliang, Deputy Mayor of the Municipal People's Government and Secretary of the Party Working Committee of the Economic Development Zone; Wan Peng, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Deputy General Manager of China Telecom Hunan Branch; Zhou Kang, Founder and Chairman of ZDATA Group; Kang Nan, Vice President; and representatives of partners.

From Land Acquisition to Construction Permit, From Construction Permit to Groundbreaking -

Mayor Hua Xuejian announced the start of the project.

Deputy Mayor Wang Yonghong congratulated the start of the project on behalf of the Municipal Party Committee and the Municipal Government. He mentioned that with the personal promotion of the main leaders of the Municipal Party Committee and the Municipal Government and the cooperation and support of Hunan Telecom, the ZDATA Shaoyang new-generation green data center project officially started construction at Shaoyang's new speed of "issuing permits upon obtaining land, starting construction upon obtaining permits." All levels of government departments will make policies practical, improve the environment, and strengthen support. They will wholeheartedly provide "escort" for the project's construction and accurately and meticulously "pave the way" for the project to be completed effectively.

Chairman Zhou Kang, representing ZDATA Group, warmly welcomed and sincerely thanked all the leaders for their presence. He introduced the project as an important layout of ZDATA Group in the central region, aiming to create a new high-level data center. The project will establish a core infrastructure platform and computing resource pool to serve the digital development of Shaoyang. After production, it will provide solid support and strong power for the vigorous development of Shaoyang's digital economy, promoting the rapid development of digital technologies such as cloud computing, big data, industrial Internet, artificial intelligence, intelligent manufacturing, and edge computing in the local area.

Deputy Secretary Wan Peng, representing China Telecom Hunan Branch, stated that the ZDATA Shaoyang new-generation green data center is a project closely cooperated on by ZDATA Group and Hunan Telecom. Following the requirement of "leading the province for three years and not falling behind for five years," it will be the first five-star data center in a city outside of Changsha. Hunan Telecom will take this project as an opportunity to consolidate the "Digital Shaoyang" computing network foundation and provide strong support for the construction of Smart Shaoyang.

Igniting Multiplicative Effects, Aiding the Development of "Three Highs and Four News" -

During the signing ceremony for key projects, Chairman Zhou Kang, on behalf of ZDATA Group, signed a three-party cooperation agreement with the Shaoyang Municipal People's Government and AsiaInfo Security Technology Co., Ltd., to participate in the planning, design, construction, and operation of "Digital Shaoyang." The three parties will carry out comprehensive cooperation around the development of digitization and the "resourcing, capitalization, and factorization" of data. Additionally, Shaoyang City Xingke Technology Development Co., Ltd. and Hunan Cloud Harbor Data Technology Co., Ltd. signed a cooperation agreement on smart computing business.

At the 2023 annual meeting of the Shaoyang Digital Industry Alliance, Chairman Zhou Kang and Vice President Kang Nan, along with Qiu Kejing, Deputy Mayor and member of the Standing Committee of the Shaoyang Municipal Party Committee, and other enterprise representatives, had in-depth discussions on accelerating the industrial development in Shaoyang. After a vote, Chairman Zhou Kang was appointed as the Deputy Director of the Shaoyang Digital Economic Expert Committee. In the future, ZDATA Group will seize the new opportunities for AIGC's global development, cooperate with excellent domestic GPU chip companies, use domestic technology, and refine high-performance computing products and services for the era of large AI models. This collaboration will support the digital quality and level of Shaoyang's high-precision industrial projects, enhance the local computing infrastructure capabilities, and become a powerful force in building Shaoyang's science and technology industry gathering area, promoting the green and high-quality development of the digital industry.
